🎤 Condolence / Funeral Speech – English Version

Good evening respected elders, dear family members, friends, and well-wishers,

I am Ankit Sharma, and today I stand before you with a heart filled with both grief and gratitude. We are gathered here not merely to mourn the loss of our dear Mr. Rajesh Verma, but to remember, honor, and celebrate the life he lived.

The purpose of this gathering is simple—to come together as a family, as friends, as a community, and to find strength in unity. In moments of loss, silence and sadness are natural, but equally important is reflection on the legacy left behind. Today, while our hearts feel heavy, we must also remember the joy, love, and wisdom that Mr. Verma shared with each of us.

On behalf of the family, I extend heartfelt thanks to every one of you present here. Your support, prayers, and comforting words are deeply appreciated. Special thanks to those who have helped organize this service, and to all who have stood beside the family during this difficult time.

Funerals often remind us of how fragile life truly is. Yet, they also remind us of the extraordinary value of the time we share together. Mr. Verma may no longer be with us in person, but the lessons he taught, the kindness he spread, and the love he gave will continue to live within us.

There is a thought I wish to share today: “A great soul never dies; it brings us together again and again.” The memories of Mr. Verma will always guide us, encourage us, and remind us of the power of kindness and humility.

Friends, grief is the price of love. The deeper the bond, the greater the loss. But let us not only dwell in sorrow. Instead, let us choose to honor his life by carrying forward his values, by living with compassion, by supporting one another, and by making each day meaningful.

As we conclude, let us take a moment of silence—not in despair, but in gratitude. Gratitude for the time we shared, gratitude for the love we received, and gratitude for the example he set.

On behalf of the family once again, I sincerely thank each of you for being here. May we carry his memory in our hearts, find strength in togetherness, and believe that while life ends, love remains eternal.

आदरणीय जनों, प्रिय परिवारजन, मित्रों और शुभचिंतकों,

मैं अंकित शर्मा आप सभी के सामने आज अत्यंत भावुक हृदय से खड़ा हूँ। हम यहाँ केवल अपने प्रिय श्री राजेश वर्मा के निधन पर शोक व्यक्त करने के लिए नहीं, बल्कि उनके जीवन को स्मरण और सम्मान देने के लिए एकत्र हुए हैं।

इस सभा का उद्देश्य बहुत सरल है—हम सब मिलकर उनके जीवन के मूल्य और विरासत को याद करें और एक-दूसरे से शक्ति प्राप्त करें। जब हम किसी प्रिय को खोते हैं, तो मन दुःख और मौन से भर जाता है, लेकिन साथ ही हमें उनके द्वारा दी गई खुशियाँ, प्रेम और शिक्षा को भी याद रखना चाहिए।

परिवार की ओर से मैं यहाँ उपस्थित सभी का हृदय से धन्यवाद करता हूँ। इस कठिन समय में आपका सहयोग, प्रार्थनाएँ और स्नेह हमारे लिए बहुत संबल का कार्य कर रहे हैं। विशेष धन्यवाद उन सभी का जिन्होंने इस सभा के आयोजन में सहयोग किया और परिवार के साथ खड़े रहे।

अंत्येष्टि हमें यह स्मरण कराती है कि जीवन कितना नाजुक है, लेकिन यह भी सिखाती है कि हमारे साथ बिताया गया समय कितना मूल्यवान होता है। श्री वर्मा भले ही हमारे बीच नहीं हैं, लेकिन उनकी शिक्षाएँ, उनका अपनापन और उनका प्रेम हमेशा हमारे साथ रहेगा।

मैं एक विचार आपसे साझा करना चाहूँगा—“महान आत्माएँ कभी नहीं मरतीं, वे हमें बार-बार एक साथ जोड़ती रहती हैं।” श्री वर्मा की यादें हमें सदा प्रेरणा देंगी और हमें दयालुता और विनम्रता की राह पर बनाए रखेंगी।

मित्रों, शोक प्रेम की कीमत है। जितना गहरा प्रेम, उतना गहरा दुःख। लेकिन हमें केवल दुःख में नहीं डूबना चाहिए। आइए हम उनके जीवन को श्रद्धांजलि देते हुए उनके मूल्यों को आगे बढ़ाएँ, करुणा और सहयोग के साथ जीवन जिएँ और हर दिन को सार्थक बनाएँ।

अंत में, आइए हम कुछ क्षण मौन रखें—शोक में नहीं, बल्कि कृतज्ञता में। उस समय के लिए कृतज्ञता जो हमने उनके साथ बिताया, उस प्रेम के लिए कृतज्ञता जो उन्होंने दिया, और उस उदाहरण के लिए कृतज्ञता जो उन्होंने हमारे सामने रखा।

परिवार की ओर से मैं एक बार फिर आप सभी का हृदय से धन्यवाद करता हूँ। आइए हम उनकी स्मृतियों को सँजोएँ, एक-दूसरे का सहारा बने और विश्वास रखें कि जीवन का अंत होता है, लेकिन प्रेम अमर रहता है।
