Good morning respected chief guest, honorable teachers, dear friends, and all the participants gathered here today.

I am Aarav Mehta, and it is a privilege to speak on a topic that affects millions of children worldwide—Child Labour Awareness. Today’s gathering is not just an event; it is a step towards understanding, empathy, and positive change.

First of all, I sincerely thank the organizers for giving us this platform, our esteemed guests for their presence, and all participants for joining hands to spread awareness about this pressing social issue.

Friends, child labour is a reality that we cannot ignore. Many children are forced to work instead of going to school, deprived of their basic rights, childhood, and dreams. According to global statistics, millions of children work in factories, farms, domestic households, and even hazardous conditions. These young minds are robbed of their education, health, and the opportunity to build a better future.

Let me share a story. Meera Singh, a ten-year-old girl in a small town, worked long hours in a local workshop to support her family. Despite her determination, she was missing the chance to study and explore her potential. With awareness campaigns and community support, Meera could enroll in school, pursue her studies, and today, she dreams of becoming a teacher. This story shows us that awareness, action, and empathy can change lives.

Why is awareness important? Because only when we understand the magnitude of the problem can we take action. Awareness leads to advocacy, advocacy leads to policy change, and policy change leads to a better life for children. Each one of us has a role—be it educating our community, supporting NGOs, or simply speaking up.

Remember, children are not meant to earn a living; they are meant to learn, play, and dream. As Nelson Mandela said, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” Ensuring children go to school instead of working is the first step towards breaking the cycle of poverty and building a brighter tomorrow.

In conclusion, let us commit to being responsible citizens. Let us raise our voices, support initiatives, and ensure that no child is forced into labour. Every child deserves education, happiness, and the freedom to dream.

सुप्रभात आदरणीय मुख्य अतिथि, सम्माननीय शिक्षकगण, प्रिय मित्रों और सभी उपस्थित साथियों,

मैं आरव मेहता आज आपके सामने खड़े होकर बाल श्रम जागरूकता जैसे महत्वपूर्ण विषय पर अपने विचार साझा करने का सौभाग्य महसूस कर रहा हूँ। यह कार्यक्रम केवल एक सभा नहीं है, बल्कि समझ, सहानुभूति और सकारात्मक बदलाव की दिशा में एक कदम है।

सबसे पहले, मैं आयोजकों का धन्यवाद करता हूँ जिन्होंने हमें यह मंच प्रदान किया, हमारे आदरणीय अतिथियों का आभार व्यक्त करता हूँ और सभी प्रतिभागियों का धन्यवाद करता हूँ जिन्होंने इस गंभीर सामाजिक मुद्दे पर जागरूकता फैलाने में अपना योगदान दिया।

मित्रों, बाल श्रम एक ऐसी वास्तविकता है जिसे हम नजरअंदाज नहीं कर सकते। बहुत सारे बच्चे स्कूल जाने के बजाय काम करने के लिए मजबूर हैं, उनके मूलभूत अधिकार, बचपन और सपनों को छीना जा रहा है। वैश्विक आँकड़ों के अनुसार, लाखों बच्चे फैक्ट्रियों, खेतों, घरेलू कार्यों और खतरनाक परिस्थितियों में काम कर रहे हैं। इन छोटे बच्चों से शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य और बेहतर भविष्य के अवसर छीने जा रहे हैं।

एक कहानी साझा करना चाहूँगा। मीरा सिंह, दस साल की एक लड़की, अपने परिवार की मदद के लिए एक कार्यशाला में लंबे घंटे काम करती थी। उसकी मेहनत के बावजूद, उसे पढ़ाई करने और अपनी प्रतिभा को निखारने का मौका नहीं मिल रहा था। जागरूकता अभियानों और सामुदायिक समर्थन के चलते मीरा स्कूल में दाखिला लेने में सफल हुई और आज वह शिक्षिका बनने का सपना देखती है। यह कहानी हमें दिखाती है कि जागरूकता, कार्य और सहानुभूति जीवन बदल सकती है।

जागरूकता क्यों आवश्यक है? क्योंकि केवल समस्या की गंभीरता को समझकर ही हम कार्रवाई कर सकते हैं। जागरूकता वकालत को जन्म देती है, वकालत नीति परिवर्तन लाती है और नीति परिवर्तन बच्चों के बेहतर जीवन की ओर ले जाता है। हम सभी की भूमिका महत्वपूर्ण है—चाहे वह अपने समुदाय को शिक्षित करना हो, एनजीओ का समर्थन करना हो या बस अपनी आवाज उठाना हो।

याद रखिए, बच्चों को काम करने के लिए नहीं बल्कि सीखने, खेलने और सपने देखने के लिए बनाया गया है। जैसा नेल्सन मंडेला ने कहा है, “शिक्षा सबसे शक्तिशाली हथियार है, जिसका उपयोग आप दुनिया को बदलने के लिए कर सकते हैं।” बच्चों को स्कूल भेजना और उन्हें बाल श्रम से दूर रखना गरीबी के चक्र को तोड़ने और उज्जवल भविष्य बनाने की पहली सीढ़ी है।

अंत में, आइए हम जिम्मेदार नागरिक बनने का संकल्प लें। आइए हम अपनी आवाज उठाएँ, पहल का समर्थन करें और सुनिश्चित करें कि कोई भी बच्चा बाल श्रम के लिए मजबूर न हो। हर बच्चे को शिक्षा, खुशी और सपने देखने की आज़ादी मिलनी चाहिए।
