Good morning/afternoon, respected teachers, dear friends, parents, and esteemed guests,

It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you all to this joyful and special occasion—Children’s Day. I am Pramod Sharma, and today I feel honored to share a few thoughts with you about the importance of children, their rights, and the role they play in shaping the future of our nation.

Children’s Day is celebrated to recognize the value, innocence, and potential of every child. It is also a day to honor the vision of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, our first Prime Minister, who loved children dearly and believed that they are the foundation of a bright and prosperous future. On this day, we celebrate childhood, joy, and learning while appreciating the efforts of parents, teachers, and caregivers who nurture children with love, guidance, and care.

Today, as we gather here, let us remember that this day is more than just fun and games—it is about reflecting on the rights of children, understanding their needs, and encouraging their creativity, learning, and overall development. Every child has a unique talent, and it is our responsibility to provide them with opportunities to grow, explore, and dream big.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to everyone present here—our teachers, for guiding and supporting us; our parents, for their love and care; and our friends, for participating in the celebrations with enthusiasm. Your presence makes this Children’s Day special and memorable.

On this occasion, let me share a motivational thought: “Children are not only the future of our nation but also the joy of our present. Let us nurture them with love, respect, and encouragement so that they grow into responsible and compassionate citizens.”

As we celebrate Children’s Day today, let us pledge to value, protect, and inspire every child around us. May we create an environment filled with learning, happiness, and opportunities for every child to flourish.

बाल दिवस हर बच्चे के मूल्य, मासूमियत और संभावनाओं को पहचानने के लिए मनाया जाता है। यह दिन हमें हमारे पहले प्रधानमंत्री पंडित जवाहरलाल नेहरू की दृष्टि को याद करने का अवसर भी देता है, जो बच्चों को अत्यंत प्रिय मानते थे और विश्वास करते थे कि बच्चे ही एक उज्जवल और समृद्ध भविष्य की नींव हैं। इस दिन हम बचपन, खुशी और सीखने का उत्सव मनाते हैं और माता-पिता, शिक्षक और देखभाल करने वालों के प्रयासों की सराहना करते हैं, जो बच्चों को प्यार, मार्गदर्शन और देखभाल के साथ संवारते हैं।

मैं आज यहाँ उपस्थित सभी का हृदय से धन्यवाद करता हूँ—हमारे शिक्षकगण, जिन्होंने हमें मार्गदर्शन और समर्थन दिया; हमारे माता-पिता, जिन्होंने अपना प्यार और देखभाल प्रदान किया; और हमारे मित्र, जिन्होंने उत्साहपूर्वक इस उत्सव में भाग लिया। आपकी उपस्थिति इस बाल दिवस समारोह को विशेष और यादगार बनाती है।
