However, in our excitement, we often overlook the impact our festivities have on the environment—air pollution from crackers, noise pollution, and excessive waste from non-biodegradable decorations. An eco-friendly Diwali reminds us that we can celebrate responsibly while protecting nature and our health.

Today, as we gather to celebrate Diwali, let us also remember our responsibility to the planet. Lighting clay lamps, using LED lights, avoiding crackers, and creating eco-friendly decorations are small yet significant steps that can reduce pollution and promote sustainability. These actions may seem small, but when practiced collectively, they create a positive impact on our environment and society.

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone present here—our teachers, for guiding us in becoming responsible citizens; our families, for supporting eco-friendly choices; and friends, for spreading awareness and participating in sustainable celebrations. Your commitment to protecting our planet makes this Diwali truly meaningful.

On this occasion, let me share a motivational thought: “The smallest act of responsibility can ignite a wave of change. Celebrate with joy, but also with care for the world around you.” Let us inspire others by showing that a joyful Diwali does not require harming nature. दिवाली अंधकार पर प्रकाश और अज्ञान पर ज्ञान की विजय का प्रतीक है। यह उत्सव, मिलन और खुशियाँ फैलाने का समय है। लेकिन अक्सर हम उत्सव की खुशी में यह भूल जाते हैं कि हमारे जश्न का पर्यावरण पर भी प्रभाव पड़ता है—पटाखों से वायु प्रदूषण, शोर प्रदूषण और गैर-बायोडिग्रेडेबल सजावट से कचरा। पर्यावरण के अनुकूल दिवाली हमें याद दिलाती है कि हम प्रकृति और स्वास्थ्य की रक्षा करते हुए जिम्मेदारी से उत्सव मना सकते हैं।
