From launching satellites that aid communication and weather forecasting to conducting interplanetary missions, every achievement reflects our commitment to science, innovation, and progress.

One of the most remarkable milestones was the Mars Orbiter Mission, popularly known as Mangalyaan, which demonstrated that determination, smart planning, and innovation can achieve the impossible. Similarly, missions to study the Moon, develop indigenous satellites, and expand earth observation capabilities have contributed not only to scientific knowledge but also to societal development, agriculture, disaster management, and education.

These achievements highlight the power of vision, teamwork, and perseverance. Mr. Anil Mehta, a young scientist involved in satellite development, often says, “Every challenge in space is an opportunity to learn and grow.” Indeed, these missions inspire millions of students, researchers, and innovators to dream big and aim higher.

As we reflect on these accomplishments, it becomes clear that the success of a space program is not measured only by rockets and satellites, but by how it inspires curiosity, empowers knowledge, and strengthens a nation’s confidence in science and technology.

मैं सुश्री आयशा वर्मा आप सभी का स्वागत करते हुए इस सभा में उपस्थित हूँ, जहाँ हम हमारे देश के अंतरिक्ष कार्यक्रम की अद्भुत उपलब्धियों का उत्सव मनाने और उन्हें समझने के लिए इकट्ठा हुए हैं।

सबसे पहले, मैं आयोजकों का धन्यवाद करती हूँ जिन्होंने इस प्रेरणादायक कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया, हमारे सम्माननीय अतिथियों का स्वागत करती हूँ और सभी प्रतिभागियों को उनके उत्साह और विज्ञान तथा तकनीक में रुचि के लिए धन्यवाद देती हूँ।

आज हम यहाँ अंतरिक्ष अन्वेषण में हासिल किए गए असाधारण मील के पत्थरों को पहचानने के लिए हैं। हमारे देश के अंतरिक्ष कार्यक्रम ने डॉ. विक्रम सिंह जैसे दूरदर्शी वैज्ञानिकों और सुश्री राधिका शर्मा जैसे समर्पित इंजीनियरों के नेतृत्व में देश को अंतरिक्ष तकनीक में वैश्विक नेताओं में शामिल कर दिया है। उपग्रहों को लॉन्च करना, जो संचार और मौसम पूर्वानुमान में मदद करते हैं, से लेकर इंटरप्लानेटरी मिशनों तक, हर उपलब्धि हमारे विज्ञान, नवाचार और प्रगति के प्रति प्रतिबद्धता को दर्शाती है।

सबसे उल्लेखनीय मील का पत्थर था मार्स ऑर्बिटर मिशन (मंगलयान), जिसने साबित कर दिया कि संकल्प, स्मार्ट योजना और नवाचार असंभव को भी संभव बना सकते हैं। इसी तरह, चंद्रमा पर मिशन, स्वदेशी उपग्रहों का विकास और पृथ्वी अवलोकन क्षमता का विस्तार न केवल वैज्ञानिक ज्ञान में योगदान करता है, बल्कि कृषि, आपदा प्रबंधन और शिक्षा में भी मदद करता है।
